This Privacy Policy explains how Akasaka Labs ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the mobile game Tank Jam: Pixel Puzzle (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We designed Tank Jam to require as little personal information as possible. Depending on the features you use, the following may be collected:
- Gameplay & device data: level progress, in-game settings, app version, device model, operating system version, language, country/region, and general usage events (for analytics and improving the game).
- Identifiers: advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) and app-instance identifiers used by our analytics and, where applicable, advertising partners.
- Approximate location: derived from your IP address or device region setting (country level), not precise GPS location.
- Purchase data: if you make an in-app purchase, the app store (Google Play / Apple) processes the payment. We receive confirmation of the purchase but not your full payment card details.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location through the App.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the game and its levels.
- To understand how players use the game (analytics) and fix bugs.
- To display advertising, including rewarded and interstitial ads, and to measure ad performance.
- To process in-app purchases and restore purchased content (such as the ad-free option).
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
3. Advertising
The App may display advertising provided by third-party ad networks. These partners may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK, and certain U.S. states), we present a consent or preference choice before personalized ads are shown, and you may opt out of personalized advertising.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies governing their handling of data:
- Google Play services & Google AdMob — policy
- AppLovin (MAX) — policy
- Unity Ads / Unity — policy
- GameAnalytics — policy
Additional ad networks (such as Pangle, Mintegral, and ironSource) may be added through our mediation partner; when integrated, their policies apply as well.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, as needed to run the game and its advertising, or when required by law.
6. Children's Privacy
Tank Jam is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data Retention & Security
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in your device settings. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
9. International Users
The App is operated from Japan and may be used worldwide. By using the App, you understand that your information may be processed in Japan and other countries where our service providers operate.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.
